San Diego is the most Southern spot in California. It borders Mexico and is known for its relaxed pace of life and warm climate. It gets less tourism than L.A. and yet as a vacation spot, San Diego has a whole lot to offer. Here are six things you shouldn’t miss if you head to the south of Cali.

Ride the Waves

San Diego is famous for its surfer scene. If you head to San Diego and don’t ride a wave, you’ve done something very wrong.

Eat at In ‘N’ Out

In ‘N’ Out is a fast-food chain that is native to California. We don’t know what they put in their food but whatever it is, it’s worth crossing the country for.

Visit Old Town

Old Town is a charming little town with plenty of photo opps. You can take a free walking tour and learn about the origins of the peculiar town.
