Walker Art Center
In this rich contemporary art museum, you’ll find a variety of modern artworks, both by young emerging artists and established, famous ones like Andy Warhol and Edward Hopper. Admission is free on Tuesdays but you will still need a timed ticket.
Chain of Lakes Regional Park
The chain of lakes found right in the city’s center, is one of the things that make Minneapolis unique. You can lounge on the beach, canoe, and paddleboard in the summer, or ice skate in the winter, without ever leaving the city limits.
MinneMile
If you’re looking for a shopping experience that is a little different, look no further than MinneMile on Minnehaha Avenue. This little shopping center is filled with locally-owned shops selling vintage, sustainable and recycled products.
First Avenue
This iconic music venue was made famous by Prince and continues to host over 1,000 shows annually.
Twin Spirits Distillery
The craft cocktails served in Twin Spirits Distillery are an absolute must, and the beautiful 1920s renovated property sure is a plus too.
