While Covid-19 has greatly affected our travel plans, nobody prevents you from planning future adventures. One of the countries that can be amazing to visit is South Korea, a country with so many great things to see that it fits even for experienced travelers. These are our favorite things about it.
Architecture
A perfect place to start is the country’s capital Seoul. If you’ve never been there before, the place will wow you with incredible, modern architecture. Some of the buildings that stand out are the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Ewha University, Kring Kumho Culture Complex, and more.
Food
Korean food is popular around the world, but the best place to try it is, of course, South Korea. Start with Korean barbecue if you’re up for grilled meats and side dishes. You can also try fermented vegetables (kimchi) and tteokbokki rice cakes.
Nature
Korea’s city life is incredible, but you also need to check out the amazing nature around the country. The best place to visit if you’re staying in Seoul is the Bukhansan National Park. Spend a quiet day exploring the big forests and numerous temples that perfectly contrast the noisy city life.
