3 Common Mistakes People Make Before a Flight

Flying is often stressful and there are some things that can go wrong, but some mistakes are more common than others. Here’s where people typically go wrong before they board the plane.

Using a Small Document Bag

A small bag for documents and money may seem convenient at first but it’s actually an easy way to lose everything that’s important at once. You can drop a small bag somewhere without noticing, so it’s better to use a pocket in a bigger bag for your passport and to keep your money in a few different locations.

Not Checking In Online

Most companies allow you to check-in for free online. If you don’t do this, they will charge a hefty fee at the airport. It’s a simple thing to do a few days before a flight, so don’t miss it.

Not Packing Liquids Properly

There are strict rules about packing liquids in hand luggage, and if you’re not sure you can follow them, it’s better to pack all the liquid content in the checked luggage. You aren’t allowed to bring containers bigger than 100ml (30oz) with you into the plane and they all have to be stored within a single 20x20cm transparent bag.
