Republic of Vanuatu
This tiny island country is located in the southern part of the Pacific Ocean and has about 243,000 inhabitants, about 90% of the fishermen.
Vanuatu has beautiful sandy beaches, a clear blue ocean, bamboo trees, and tiny animals. Because it’s so small it never gets too crowded so it’s perfect if you are after a quiet, peaceful vacation.
Guernsey
You might have heard of this island nation as a part of the UK, but it actually got its independence. The island is home to about 65,000 people and besides the beautiful beaches, there are two huge Neolithic sculptures that attract more and more tourists every day.
Comoros
Comoros is an African island located at the end of the Mozambique Channel. The first settlers came in the 6th century and ever since then it has been influenced by many cultures, like the Persians, Swahili, the nearby island of Madagascar and many others. Some Islamic notes say that God threw a jewel in the water which created the eruption of a volcano that created the island.
