The very sight of a World War II submarine is impressive, but what about one that was turned into the biggest digital art exhibition in the world? Transformed by French studio Culturespaces, this artifact from the last century will soon start welcoming art enthusiasts from around the world who can visit it starting April 17th, 2020 in Bordeaux.

Culturespaces is the country’s leading museum and operating studio with a number of creative projects in their portfolio. The submarine museum will operate all year long, every day, offering the visitors a unique chance to see the work of some iconic artists like Gustav Klimt and Paul Klee.

90 video projectors and 80 speakers will work together to present some of the best art from around the world in digital form, in a way that enables more people than ever to enjoy it in one place. The submarine is being adapted to contain four basins for main installations and six more segments that will highlight different artists who specialize in immersive art.
