Are you up for a real adventure? Would you go to a place that has no airport? A place that’s thousands of miles away from any continent, where you can get lost in nature and forget about everything? Well, if the answer to those questions is yes – Tristan da Cunha is the right place for you!

Tristan da Cunha is a small archipelago in the south of the Atlantic Ocean, between Africa and South America. It is a self-governing territory of the United Kingdom and is one of the most isolated places on earth. The main island has a population of around 300 inhabitants but it’s frequently visited by adventurous travelers from all around the world.

As there is no airport, the only way to access Tristan da Cunha is by taking a boat trip from South Africa, which usually lasts 5 or 6 days. This trip is definitely worth it since the island is one of the most unique places in the world.

While there, you can take a hiking tour around it or even take a tour of the two smaller neighboring islands. The island has two places where you can grab a drink or have a meal, the Café da Cunha and the Albatross Bar.
