Would You Eat at this Undersea Restaurant?

If you’re looking for a memorable and unique dining experience, look no further than the Ithaa Undersea Restaurant in the Maldives.

The Maldives, an island country located in the Indian Ocean, plays hosts to a restaurant that no dinner will ever forget.

At Ithaa, diners dine under the water. That’s right: at this restaurant, you are seated in a dining room under the sea, where your meal is served to you as you observe the blue water and marine life swimming around you.

If you travel to Rangall Island in the Maldives, you might have the opportunity to have a meal at this one-of-a-kind restaurant.

Opened in 2005, Ithaa was the first ever restaurant of its kind. At the end of a jetty, diners descend a spiral staircase into the underwater capsule that hosts the Ithaa Undersea Restaurant.

Here, diners are treated to a fine dining experience with cuisine inspired by both Asian and European influences. While the food is highly-rated and certainly looks delicious, it comes at a high price tag. Dinner at the restaurant currently costs about $400 per person.

What do you think? Would you have a meal with the sharks at this surreal restaurant?
