When choosing a vacation, you need, at least once in your life, to get out of your comfort zone and leave the crowds behind, disappearing into the mountains.

These two areas are an absolute must in order to unlock that achievement.

The Himalayas – China and Nepal

Traveling to Nepal and Tibet can be challenging, but at the same time, you can experience the ancient culture and the spectacular landscapes. The route leads through high mountain passes and deep forests, from Lhasa in Tibet to the base camp of Mount Everest and Kathmandu, Nepal. Along the way, you can visit palaces, monasteries, and temples, including the former home of the Dalai Lama.

Western Slovenia

Slovenia is a tiny country surrounded by the Alps. It’s the greenest country in Europe and has thousands of crystal-clear rivers and streams created the melting of the snows. They are home to the unique Danube salmon and brown trout.

When here, you must visit Medved, the Soca Valley, and the Sora rivers. This part of Slovenia is so green and beautiful that when you take a walk or have a picnic you will ask yourself: is this place even real? And the answer is yes, it is!
