When it comes to romance, Paris, France is one of the most romantic places in the world. Whether you’re planning a proposal or celebrating an anniversary, the City of Love is the place to visit with your partner. There are tons of beautiful places in the city, but these three are the ones that shouldn’t be missed.

Wall of “I Love You’s”

Hidden in Jehan Rictus Square near Abbesses Metro station, is Le Mur Des Je T’aime, also known as the Wall of “I Love You’s”. Created by Frederic Baron and Claire Kito to celebrate love and peach, the wall has “I Love You” written in 250 different languages.

The Eiffel Tower

Head over 1,000 feet in the air to the Eiffel Tower and get one of the best views in the city. Many marriage proposals, first kisses, and declarations of love have taken place at this landmark which is the most-visited paid monument in the world. To avoid crowds and having to pay a fee, have a picnic in the park below.

Pont des Arts and the Pont de L’Archevêché

People from all over the world came to these two Parisian bridges to leave padlocks engraved with their names and initials. The locks became so overwhelming that they started weighing down the mesh railings so they were removed from the bridges in 2015. While they’re not there anymore, this part of the Seine is still associated with romance and couples picnic there.
