Things You Need To See When Visiting Yellowstone

National parks have always been exciting places to visit because of their nature, contact with wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

Yellowstone National Park is a great place for exploring, especially because of its size. You can enter the national park from Montana, Idaho or Wyoming and no matter which road you choose, you’ll be blessed with amazing views.

Here are few things that are worth your time:

The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone – you can enjoy the marvelous view of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River from the Artist Point.

Yellowstone Lake and Geyser Basins – it may be a small area, but West Thumb Geyser Basin is truly a gorgeous place. Located on the edge of Yellowstone Lake you can enjoy the hot springs, fumaroles and geysers empty into the lake. While there you also have to visit Norris Geyser Basin, home to the world’s tallest geyser.

Lamar Valley and Firehole Canyon – Lamar Valley has amazing wildlife, while Morning Glory Pool has the most breathtaking mix of colors you can imagine. You can also swim near the cliff where the Firehole Canyon Drive and the Firehole River because the cold river meets the boiling spring water and when mixed up can be quite pleasant for swimming.
