Vietnamese Women’s Museum

This gem of a museum is filled with costumes from the many minorities of the country. There is an excellent exhibition on the role of women in wartime and the temporary exhibitions tend to be enlightening.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

The museum is very much a monument for the leader of the Democratic Republic of North Vietnam but there are many surprises too. It’s free to enter and you’ll learn a lot and definitely be entertained.

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

There are 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology explores them all. It is a thoroughly rewarding experience.
