The Rain Vortex Waterfall, also called Jewel, is located in Singapore, in Jewel Changi Airport. Being over 130 feet tall makes it the tallest indoor waterfall in the world.

The waterfall is the work of architectural company Safdie Architects and it’s the centerpiece of the airport. At its widest point, it’s 656 feet wide. It’s just one of the ways to make the Changi airport an attraction on its own and to attract tourists to Singapore.

“Not only will Jewel augment Singapore Changi Airport’s offerings,” Jewel CEO Hung Jean said, according to CNBC. “It will also strengthen Singapore as an attractive tourist destination.”

The building is more than just an airport – it also serves as a retail and entertainment destination. It’s definitely a must-see spot when you’re in Singapore!
