There’s nothing worse than taking a refreshing shower, only to walk outside and feel like you need to take another one five minutes in due to the gross humidity outside. Some cities in the world, while being lovely tourist spots, are unfortunately quite humid a lot of the time—and here are three of them.

Jakarta, Indonesia

Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is super humid due to its proximity to the sea. On one hand, the city offers a mix of old and new, with a rich culture and delicious cuisine. However, on the other hand, the muggy weather can be a factor to consider when planning your visit.

Dhaka, Bangladesh

Our second destination is Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. This city experiences high humidity, especially during the rainy season. While Dhaka has its charms, including bustling markets and delicious street food, the humid climate can be a challenge for travelers who are not accustomed to it.

Manila, Philippines

Our final stop is Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Manila’s tropical climate means that humidity is a common feature. The city offers a blend of history and western commodities, but the high humidity can certainly be a big consideration for travelers who prefer more easy climates.
