The Louvre Now Offers 8 Perfumes Based on Famous Artworks

We never thought this would happen, but Louvre has released a beauty collaboration. The famous Paris museum teamed up with Officine Universelle Buly, a cult French beauty brand (also known as Buly 1803).

The collaboration resulted in eight scents, created by eight different French perfumers, that represent a Louvre artwork each. “The perfumers were totally free to choose the art they wanted. There wasn’t even a budget,” the Buly 1803 leader Ramdane Touhami told The Telegraph. “Actually, I said no Mona Lisa; that would have been far too obvious.”

The museum visitors will now be able to take home unique scented souvenirs in the form of perfume, candle, soap sheets, or postcards.
