Egypt is one of the countries on everyone’s bucket list since every passionate traveler dreams about marveling at the Great Pyramid of Giza, strolling through the busy streets of Cairo, and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Hurghada. Hopefully, we’ll all get there someday—but what is the best time for this adventure?

The tricky part of visiting Egypt is dealing with its extremely warm climate, especially if you’re not used to it. That’s why summertime is best to be avoided since the temperatures in certain top tourist spots, such as Luxor, tend to reach 40 degrees during summertime.

Many people still pick Egypt for their summer vacation, since it’s the only time when they can take a couple of weeks off and explore this country in its full glory. If you’re lucky enough to choose, go for spring or fall instead.

The region you want to visit should also impact your decision. November to late February is considered as peak tourist season, but Cairo and the Nile Delta region can be quite chilly during this period, but it’s still a good time to visit if you’re trying to avoid the heat.
