]]>Located in the Bolivian altiplano, an exceptionally flat plateau at high altitude within the Andes Mountain region, this salt flat is the worldโs largest at over 4,000 square miles in area.
Created after the evaporation of a prehistoric lake, salt, rock formations, and the remnants of former islands within the lake were left behind to create a landscape that looks more like something from another planet than it does anything Earth-like.
The surface of the lake creates a mirror-like effect in which the skies and the landscape surrounding the salt flat are reflected perfectly off of the surface.
Itโs a phenomenon that you must see in order to believe, exceeding any sort of expectation that you might have for this place, as high as it might be.
Run, donโt walk, to visit the Uyuni Salt Flat.

Oregonโs largest city is a beautiful mishmash of quirky shops, farm-to-table restaurants, tree-lined streets, and unique cultural events. Just outside of Portland, only a steep two-mile hike is what stands between visitors at the top of Multnomah Falls, an impressive cascade that rushes down to the bottom of the Columbia River Gorge. The falls, which record a 620 vertical drop, rewards visitors with a spectacular view of nature in action.
Oregonโs Pacific Coast is a picturesque, lush, green landscape dotted with small coastal towns, virgin beaches, and jagged cliffs. Simply following the coast on Highway 101, allowing for plenty of time to discover towns like Newport and sights such as Cannon Beach, is a rewarding itinerary for visitors to the Beaver State.

]]>The answer to all your skincare and makeup needs is coconut oil. Coconut oil does so much good for many places on your body and is a great thing to travel with. All you have to do is is scoop it into a little releasable jar that’s under the TSA liquid limit, and you can kill three birds with one product.
To use coconut oil as a makeup remover, it couldn’t be simpler. Just take the coconut oil, rub it on your fingers if it’s not already in a liquid state, and rub it onto your face gently to get rid of your makeup. Wash your face after with warm water and you’re ready for bed! You can also use the coconut oil as a hand and body lotion, and even to moisturize your lips.
