Superkilen is located in Copenhagen’s Nørrebro district, with a vision to promote tolerance and unity in one of the city’s most ethnically diverse communities. It officially opened its doors in 2012 and it stands as a symbol of global culture coming together in one unique space.

Superkilen is divided into three different areas, starting with the red square—a recreational area painted bright red, orange, and pink, designated for community-organized events.
