Stryn is Norway’s Kingdom of Nature

Seeing just one aerial photo of the Norwegian town of Stryn is enough to fall in love with the place. Stryn is located in the south of the country and includes numerous islands, rivers, peninsulas, bays, and national parks.

Stryn consists of several small villages. Most people in the area are farmers and grow fruits and vegetables and have livestock. As we already mentioned, nature is amazing so tourism is also one of the rising industries here.

The Stryneelva River flows through the village creating these beautiful aerial scenes. Its name means “strong source” and it’s not difficult to understand why. The crystal-clear water is just one of the things that make this area wildly beautiful.

The area is very popular among skiers, especially during the summer. Stryn Sommerski is one of the most popular ski resorts in northern Europe, located at 1,065 meters above sea level.

This is a place where nature comes first and guests know how to respect that.
