It also doesn’t hurt its case that it’s easily accessible since it takes about 2.5 hours to reach it from Reykjavik.
The unusual color of the sand isn’t the only thing attracting people to the shores of Reynisdrangar. It’s also known for imposing basalt sea stacks, which stand as a constant reminder of the powerful forces of nature that shaped this beautiful island.
