The old continent is full of hidden gems. There are many cities that are extremely popular and while they are all gorgeous, Europe has more to offer than the usual travel menu. Here are a few places you’ve probably never heard about but are well worth visiting.

Burano, Italy

You’ve all heard about Venice, but not many of you have heard of Burano. Burano’s houses are like a rainbow – each house is in a different color and gives this place amazing charm that won’t leave you indifferent.

Dinant, Belgium

This city located near a cliff offers a magnificent view in the Meuse River and is convenient to visit at any time of the year. You can visit Collegiale Notre-Dame, or visit the jazz museum Maison de Monsieur Sax.

Dinant is also the birthplace of the inventor of the saxophone, Adolphe Sax, so you’ll see lot of saxophone sculptures around.

Kylemore Abbey, Ireland

If you love mysteries and castles, then this is the place to be! Kylemore Castle became a monastery for Benedictine nuns in 1920, even though it was a private home before that.

With gorgeous woodland and breathtaking architecture, you’ll quickly fall in love with this place.
