When one thinks of Panama it’s usually something in connection with international finance and banking or shipping and commerce, you know, the usual boring stuff.

But rarely does anyone know that the small Central American country is a pretty lovely and vibrant place that has to offer something for every type of visitor, whether you are a beach-and-cocktail lover or you are a nature aficionado. From breathtaking long beaches and developed urban areas to remote rain forests, Panama has it all!

Because of its position, Panama is known as the crossroads of the Americas connecting the two continents but also connecting two oceans. This important position allowed Panama to develop greatly and to become one of the leading countries of the two continents, not to mention that it’s one of the safest countries in the region.

This magnificent country offers the traveler great natural beauties and unique flora and fauna authentic to the region.

The capital Panama City is highly developed and it provides a great nightlife to the young visitors. Also, you can experience a great local culture since the locals are usually really communicative and helpful.

And of course, don’t forget to visit the magnificent Panama Canal that is the most famous landmark of the country – a unique bridge between the Pacific and the Atlantic!
