The largest and most famous lake in New Hampshire is called Lake Winnipesaukee. It encompasses over 70 square miles of space, has lots of bays, and it’s such a fun lake to visit. There are so many little towns that are all around the lake, and there are even certain restaurants and little ice cream shops that you can get to on a boat because they have lots of dock space!

Even if you’re not a super water lover, there are plenty of things to do on land around the lake because it’s located within the Pawtuckaway State Park.
