Iceland’s Sky Lagoon Set to Open in 2021, and It Will Have a Swim-Up Bar

2020 has most definitely not been the best year for traveling as many of our vacations have been put on hold due to the coronavirus. By 2021, however, we’re hoping things will go back to normal and that we can enjoy vacationing again. If you’re starting to plan for next year, we have a destination you’ll love and you’ll be one of the first people to explore it!

Sky Lagoon, located in Kársnes Harbor, Kópavogur, Iceland, is an oceanfront geothermal retreat that will open in spring 2021. It’s amidst the Atlantic Ocean and the new lagoon hopes to “enable guests to connect with mind, body, and spirit through the radiant powers of geothermal waters while taking in such impressive ocean views.”

If that wasn’t enough, the retreat will have a one-of-a-kind swim-up-bar, a 70-meter infinity edge, and on-set dining. You’ll also get to see the amazing Northern Lights as well as the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Sky Lagoon will be operated by Pursuit, a hospitality company that’s known for their once in a lifetime, luxurious experiences in iconic destinations. There hasn’t been an exact date for when the lagoon will open.
