If we were to list the features on a flight from the most important ones, the seat comfort would be pretty high on that list. Apparently, many people agree, as travel organizing app TripIt shared a report of their analysis that says people value good seats six times more than good Wi-Fi.

The company’s report analyzed data from 1 million flights over one year and found that economy class travelers were generally the happiest.

“At this point in time, most travelers don’t expect it, so it doesn’t as drastically alter their perception of their flight,” Kelly Soderlund, a travel trends expert at TripIt told Travel and Leisure. “I would expect to see this change over the next few years because we do know travelers want high-quality Wi-Fi, so it’s an interesting little conundrum.”

The report found that travelers with basic economy tickets were happier than those who traveled the standard economy. Basic economy travelers know what to expect and they are happy when they get it, simple as that.
