Disney’s theme parks are slowly reopening their doors around the world, and Europe’s most popular attraction will soon join in the ranks. Disneyland Paris will welcome back the visitors on June 17th, but what can we expect once it finally reopens?

The Disneyland Paris reopening was announced through the social media channels of the Euro Disney Group, together with several other built-in attractions. “We are pleased to announce that Disneyland Paris will reopen on June 17 with Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel, and Disney Village. Our reopening will follow enhanced health and safety measures,” reads Euro Disney Group’s statement.

This announcement comes shortly after Disneyland in California opened its doors on April 30th, and it was preceded by several major setbacks. Disneyland Paris was initially closed between March 13th and July 15th last year, before closing its doors again on October 30th due to a second nationwide lockdown in France.

According to the theme park’s official website, limited attendance, physical distancing, enhanced cleaning, and sanitization will be some of the measures in place once Disneyland Paris reopens. Some attractions won’t be available from the first day, and experiences that draw huge group gatherings are temporarily suspended.
