Beware of the Dirtiest Parts of Your Hotel Room

There are always people who are a little obsessed with germs in hotel rooms, but at long last, they’ve been avenged. Multiple studies have now proven that hotel rooms are usually a lot dirtier than what meets the eye, and here are some of the dirtiest parts by far.

Bedspread

The bedspread in a hotel room should be one of the first things that you take off the shove into the corner. Bedspreads are usually only washed on average about 4 times a year, which is pretty disgusting. Although not to worry, your sheets do get changed so all you need to do is take them off and you’re fine.

The Remote

The remote to the TV is also one of the dirtiest parts of the room, because so many people use it and it doesn’t normally get cleaned by the hotel. An easy fix for this is to simply bring along some wipes so you can give it a quick swipe before you sit back and relax.

Pillowcases

This last one might be the grossest, and the saddest. Not every hotel chain requires their staff to change out pillow cases before a new guest comes, which means that you can be sleeping on someone else’s pillow. In that case, bring your own so you don’t have to deal with that mess.
