She has over 100,000 Instagram followers and has launched her own business in 2016, helping people grow their blogs and social media pages on their way to become successful bloggers and entrepreneurs. 

We were more interested in the part of her life where she travels around the world, so that’s what we focused on. Along with Vanessa Rivers, van Dijk is a founder of the travel community We Are Travel Girls that aims to inspire, educate, and connect female travelers.

Do not go where the path may lead, instead go where there is no path and leave a trail’⁠ ⁠ A recent last-minute trip to Bali took me to all of the well-known tourist spots and whilst beautiful, I craved quiet. The buzz of busy Ubud in the high season had me googling for a secluded spot and that's how I found Munduk.⁠ ⁠ Often overlooked by tourists, Munduk is a small village nestled in the mountains of northern Bali. It takes around 90 minutes to get there. That is if you can resist the temptation to stop at one of the many beautiful viewpoints on the way! Hiring a driver is probably the easiest and safest way to get there and in Bali, it is very affordable. Most Airbnb hosts or hotel staff can recommend a driver for you and get this arranged. Then all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the scenery.⁠ ⁠ The area is home to three amazing waterfalls which are a lot quieter than their more central counterparts near Ubud. There are rice terraces, coffee plantations, beautiful views of the twin lakes and even a 500-year-old Banyan tree which was really interesting to see!⁠ ⁠ This photo was taken at Munduk waterfall which included a very short walk of around 10 minutes down the valley and a small cost of 20000 IDR per person (around 1.40usd). There were no more than 15 other people there at the same time as us and this was mid-afternoon. ⁠ ⁠ If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the well-trodden paths in Bali, then head to Munduk? Park Güell is one of my favourites spots in Barcelona. It's a little far away from the main attractions but definitely worth a visit. When in Casablanca don't miss the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the biggest in the world. It is the only mosque that non-muslims can visit in Morocco. Every September Reno, NV hosts the United States’ biggest FREE hot air balloon festival. Over 90 balloons flood the skyline and it’s truly a travel girl’s dream.⁠ The festival starts before sunrise with balloons performing a light show. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ And shortly after sunrise visitors are free to wander around the field as all the balloons prepare to take off. [#AD] Handy beauty tip from me is to take a small amount of leave-in conditioner and mix it in a bottle with water. After 6 trips to Morocco I still have not bought a single rug, blanket or a boho pouffe! I just can't seem to decide on one style or colour. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ But to be honest this is a good thing. In today's society it's so easy for us to go for instant gratification and buy things we don't necessarily need or are not even totally sure that we want! Yes, I have the luxury of knowing I will be back in Morocco soon so I have time to decide, but I still think it's important to think carefully about our consumer choices. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Nope – I am not perfect. I have been known to overbuy and make impulse purchases leading to buyers remorse, but I am far more conscious about where I buy from and if I really LOVE and need the item. I would rather have fewer things in my life that I love than thousands of things I feel indifferent about. Have you visited Füssen, Germany? This little town is the gateway to the famous fairytale Neuschwanstein castle 🏰 But the town is a fairytale itself, filled with pretty pastel coloured buildings, cobbled streets and plenty of chocolate shops – we simply enjoyed getting lost around the town.
