3 Things to Take Into Consideration Before Staying at a Party Hostel

Party hostels are really popular with young travelers, who enjoy meeting new people and having some great times while on the road. But, they also come with a  long list of downsides, and here’s what you should know before deciding if they’re your thing.

Not So Comfy

Comfort is not exactly a priority at a party hostel. Travelers who stay here are usually looking for the cheapest possible place to spend the night, so the owners of these hostels rarely invest in big beds and nutritious breakfast, since no one’s going to bother to get up early anyway.

Sleepless Night

If you don’t mind sleeping in a noisy environment, party hostels may be a thing for you, but don’t book them otherwise. Your sleep will be interrupted because they have a bar on the spot, so make sure to bring earplugs and an eye mask because you’ll be dealing with loud music and noisy people.

Timing Issues

If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands to explore a new city, avoid party hostels at all costs. You’ll have to be well-rested in the morning, because you’ll be sightseeing all day long, and staying up to a party or being unable to fall asleep could seriously mess with your plans.
