Kenya is a country in East Africa that is an incredible choice for a travel destination. It has a wonderful and unique culture, with some exciting cities such as Nairobi and Mombasa, and you can find incredible art, music, and cuisine there. However, Kenya’s most impressive feature is the jaw-dropping natural world it offers, with some of the most amazing sights and experiences across the world. It’s a nature lover’s dream destination, and here are three reasons why.

The Landscapes

Kenya offers some of the most spectacular scenery, including dramatic mountains such as Mount Kenya which is an extinct volcano that stands at 5,199 meters tall. It also contains the impressive Great Rift Valley, as well as an abundance of beautiful savannahs and lakelands.

The Coastline

There are roughly 600 kilometers of coastline in Kenya which meets the Indian Ocean. This stretch of land along the sea is a wonderful place to explore. There are stunning white beaches with gorgeous palm trees, and along these beaches, you’ll find dense tropical forests. The water is warm and perfect for swimming or watersports.

The Wildlife

Thanks to its glorious natural landscapes, Kenya is home to some of the most iconic and awe-inspiring animals. Within the nature reserves, you can find lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, hippos, and many more fascinating creatures.
