Visit a Traditional Market
Revolution Avenue is walking distance from the border and is one of the top tourist destinations, but if you’re looking for something more local, try the traditional markets. The Mercado Hidalgo is the most centrally located and has fresh fruit, local cheeses, and other amazing foods all for great prices.
Museums
The Tijuana Cultural Center is one of the most visited destinations in the city. It has lots of options for entertainment including an IMEX theater, an aquarium, art galleries, and concerts. In addition, the Tijuana History Museum tells the natural and urban history of the region.
Beaches
Baja California, the area where Tijuana is located, is known for its beautiful beaches. Although many people prefer to go farther south for natural beauty, there are many beautiful spots in the city limits as well. The backdrop of the busy city combined with the vast ocean makes it a great place to swim, hang out, or grab a drink.
