France
France is the most classic example of a country known for its incredible selection of baked goods. If you love croissants, there really is no better place to visit than France, and you’ll find yourself in heaven roaming from one “boulangerie” to the next.
Italy
Another country that’s pretty popular for being a haven for baked goods is Italy. While France excels more when it comes to sweet pastries, Italian’s bread and butter (pun intended) is its regular, unsweetened varieties. Turkey
Turkey is more of an underrated country when it comes to its bakeries, but it surely does deliver. Their bakeries are called “fırın” or “pastane”, and you can find all sorts of great treats there.
