Don’t Commute By Day During Ramadan

Most people feast during the Month of Ramadan, and it is rude to eat, drink or even smoke in public. Fasting equals, no food and no liquid. Instead of challenging your blather, you should travel only after sunset. At night, passengers are in a festive mood and there will definitely be stops.

How to Say ‘No’

In Urdu, which is the official Pakistani language, it is polite to say “no thanks” at least once before accepting something. But how will they know when you really mean it and vice versa? Put your hands over your heart and say “Bas, shukriya” which means “No more, thank you”.

Wear Only Pakistani Clothes

To avoid stares, do not wear shorts or tight clothes. Also, during summer it is much more comfortable to wear loose, baggy pants and dresses instead of skinny jeans. The Pakistani shalwar kameez is the perfect choice!
