Moldova is an East European, landlocked country bordered by Romania and Ukraine. It is a perfect place to visit if you want to escape tourists. Sarmale is a traditional Moldovan food that is served for centuries. It is made from rice, meat and vegetable mixture which is rolled into the cabbage leaves and cooked in a tomato soup.
