Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, travelers will unfortunately not be able to visit the world-famous Keukenhof garden in the Netherlands this spring. This is the second consecutive year that visitors have missed out on seeing the tulips in bloom at one of the world’s largest botanical gardens, and no one would blame you for being sad about this.

Fortunately, however, there is a virtual tour of this famous spot on the Keukenhof website that you should check out to get a taste of this lovely place!

Whether you have visited Keukenhof before or not, it is worth taking the time to cruise through the gardens with a 360 degree video that takes you all around its 32 hectares. You will see ponds, lakes, and over 7 million flowers that come to life in spring with a number of colors and patterns.

This completely free experience will transport you to the Dutch countryside and give you a taste of one of the most spectacular spring sights that you will find anywhere. In addition to the tulips, crocuses, hyacinths, orchids, daffodils and other flowers you’ll see on your tour, you will also check out a number of pieces of sculpture and artwork that add a whole new dimension to this fantastic garden.

It might not be quite the same as actually visiting, but a virtual visit to Keukenhof will hopefully quench at least some of your travel desire and transport you to a beautiful spring world.

Be sure to check out Keukenhof over the next month or so!
