]]>If you want to get a breathtaking view of the whole park, then the Observation Point hike is the one you have to do. The trail is quite strenuous as you have to hike all the way to the top of a cliff. A round trip along the 8-mile long trail should take about 4-6 hours. Bring lots of water for this one, as you don’t want to get dehydrated.
This is the most well-trafficked hiking spot in the park. This is another physically demanding hike, as you must hike to the narrow ridge known as Angels Landing, and then with the assistance of a metal fence, hoist yourself to the very top. The trail is 5.4 miles long and can take up to 6 hours to complete.
For the hiker that also likes a touch of canyoneering, this is the hike for you. Typically, you start at the beginning of the canyon and rappel yourself down the canyon into the water below. You will need to wade through the water as a part of the hike, which is why this is one you do in the summer months. The views are worth the cold dip. The trail is 10 miles long, and this is an all-day hike.

]]>The formidable natural beauty started appearing on film as early as 1897 when a promotional film advertising train travel was filmed on location. In the 1980s, the rapids starred in Kevin Bacon’s and Meryl Streep’s The River Wild, and in the 21st Century, it was the scenery for 2015’s The Revenant starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
Perhaps the most popular site in Montana when it comes to being used as a movie set, we can list all the movies filmed in the park, but we can certainly list a few popular titles to get you started. Most notably is 1994 Forrest Gump: the park appears when Forrest runs across America, and again later in the film when he tells Jenny about his running experience.
Older but not less famous is Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, which includes the park as the spectacular backdrop to the hotel.

Here are three natural treasures that you must check out if you have a trip planned to Florida.
One of the places you must visit in Florida to see nature at its finest is Everglades National Park. Boasting a tropical swamp ecosystem that is unique in the world, visitors to this park often see native species such as alligators and great blue herons.
The Keys are a barrier island chain that extends into the sea from the southern tip of Florida. It’s full of natural wonders, especially the colorful and striking coral reef that you can discover while snorkeling there (the only one in the US). Don’t skip its untouched, virgin white sand beaches, either.
Further north in the state of Florida is Apalachicola National Forest, a protected nature reserve that hosts one of the largest southern pine forests in existence. Here, you can see all kinds of native fauna as well as wetland ecosystems and curious landscapes.
