Takabisha, a roller coaster that can be found in Fujiyoshida’s Fuji-Q Highland theme park, is known for terrifying its riders senseless. After it elevates you so high that you can see the marvelous Mount Fuji, you’re then turned on a 121-degree angle and dropped mercilessly.
Kingda Ka, located in New Jersey’s Six Flags Great Adventure, currently holds the title for the tallest roller coaster in the world, elevating to a startling peak of 456 feet. If that’s not enough, it has the longest initial drop in the world as well, which is known to give its riders a real thrill.
If you happen to find yourself in Abu Dhabi, check out Ferrari World, where you can board Formula Rossa. True to its home’s title, this roller coaster is the fastest in the world, hitting 149 miles per hour at one point.

Stretching over 330 acres, this is Canada’s largest theme park as well as being one of the most highly visited parks in the whole of North America. It has over 200 attractions, 69 rides, 15 roller coasters, and a 20-acre Splash Works waterpark.
The largest theme park in eastern Canada covering over 146 acres, it has over 40 rides and attractions and offers 10 roller coasters. Located only a stone throw away from Montreal’s picturesque old port, this is a must-see if you are visiting the city.

Full Throttle is one of the park’s newest coasters and it packs one hell of a punch. It kicks off with a fierce launch start before sending you headfirst over a huge loop. About halfway through the ride, the cart comes to a halt and you experience a second launch start, but backwards. The backwards launch and top hat element of the coaster make for a truly unique ride.
X2 is definitely one of the most unique coasters there is. The seats dangle from the side of the track and rotate in the opposite direction to the ride. It’s an extremely thrilling and disorientating experience which makes X2 one of the best coasters in the world.
Standing at 415 fr tall, the Superman ride at Six Flags: Magic Mountain stands as one of the tallest and fastest in the world. The ride is over very quickly but you get one hell of a rush being shot up and back down the track.
Goliath is a huge coaster that lasts for around three minutes. That’s a long time to be dropped and swung through the air on a steel track.
Tatsu is a flying coaster which will have you soaring face down across 3,602 feet of track. At one point, you’ll corkscrew down 104 feet and take a huge pretzel loop. It’s a smooth ride but hella scary.
