If you are anything like me, you probably love traveling and eating your way through the new countries and places that you discover. While I try to post as many food pics as I can throughout my travels to my humble account, the truth is that I like to get my inspiration and foodie travel pics from other sources.

Migrationology, which is run by travel and food blogger Mark Wiens, is my favorite foodie travel Instagram account to follow.

Wiens, a native of the United States who has lived across the globe since a young age, is a Bangkok-based food and travel expert that spends a lot of his time traveling and eating his way around the globe.

From Bolivia to Budapest, Wiens is constantly updating his Instagram feed with unique snapshots of foods from around the globe. Not only does he share photos, he also does a great job of telling the stories behind local cuisines and chefs.

If you are looking for some inspiration to trek the globe and find its best bites during the process, Migrationology is an account that you absolutely must follow. You won’t be disappointed!

Have you ever felt like eating your way around the world?

While there are lots of great things to do and sights to see while traveling, sometimes, the best thing to do is simply eat! All of the peoples and regions of the Earth have a huge variety of cuisines that can be experienced by travelers.

One of the travel foodies that have inspired us recently has been Anne, a Dutch blogger that has traveled to over 60 different countries in search of the best bites to eat.

In addition to her blog, Anne also maintains an Instagram account (@anne_travel_foodie), where she posts pictures of the best bites to eat that she’s had on her travels, as well as at home!

We loved this shot of one of Anne’s breakfasts on a trip to Crete. It perfectly shows off how harmonious eating and travel can be.

In addition to her posts about food, you can also find shots of the cities to which she travels from time to time. And trust us, there are plenty of places to check out on her page!

Be sure to give Anne a follow if you love traveling and food as much as we do.

Though Vincent might look hard on the outside, he’s really a huge fan of fashion and cool aesthetics. What other travel blogger have you ever seen jump out of a helicopter or climb up and then ski down the slopes of Mount Rainier?

If you’re looking for a vicarious boost of adrenaline and to see some of the most spectacular shots of the natural world, Sterck’s fabulous Instagram account is a must-follow.

This mid-20s adventurer from Jackson, Wyoming in the United States grew up in an outdoorsy environment, and it shows in her posts. Sterck does her best to travel from a remote corner to a remote corner of the planet in order to document her fascinating activities in the great outdoors.

Sterck is an expert at capturing light and contrast, which gives her dramatic shots of mountain ranges and glacial environments a whole new level of beauty. Even if you aren’t a frequent hiker or skier, her fantastic page will probably make you wish that you were one.

Andi of the travel account @destinationchaser is only 22 years old but has seen more of the world than many. She grew up in Venezuela and fled with her family when she was 13 to Austria because of the civil war and all that came with it. She started traveling around by herself when she was 18 years old and has learned so much about travel and photography throughout her journey through more than 30 countries.

Andi has a wonderful Instagram presence for so many reasons. She has adorable and bubbly captions and poses in her photos, but she also gives you great tips that she does during her travels that are so easy to adapt to your own trips! She’s very engaging with her Instagram followers and it really makes you feel like you’re on this journey right alongside her.

Andi also gives her followers the inside scoop on how she edits her photos, which is really rare to see on Instagram, especially for an account that has over 160,000 followers. She could easily pretend that her photos naturally turn out the way they do, but her transparency gives her followers a sense of connection and honesty, as well as helping other aspiring photographers and Instagrammers figure out how to make their photos as beautiful as possible.

If there’s anything that limits our ability to travel, it’s usually money. While going outside of your home environment to find new corners of the globe is a fantastic experience, it’s sometimes simply too expensive for us to do with any type of frequency.

Fortunately for us, there is a wealth of resources online now that can help us to find out tips and tricks that make the costs of traveling go down. One resource that I find immensely helpful in the pursuit of money-saving while traveling is The Travel Hack.

This Instagram account is run by Monica, a travel blogger from the UK. She posts a wealth of interesting ideas that help travelers to save money while globe-trotting, all while having a great time and not limiting yourself.

While Monica sometimes doesn’t explicitly talk about how to save money on her Instagram account – instead she is sharing links to posts on her blog – her Instagram still shares plenty about under-the-radar and cheap destinations, as well as other various travel hacks.

I've got a confession to make. In recent years I've become a bit of a holiday snob. I hate admitting this because I really don't like holiday snobs – the kind of people who turn their nose up at certain destinations because they're too 'touristy' or too 'popular'. But do you know what, some places are popular for a reason and it's because they're flipping gorgeous. Getting off the beaten track is fun, but visiting the popular touristy places is just as good too. I didn't think I'd really love Tenerife. I thought it was just another seaside resort, all-inclusive, package-holiday destination. And it is this but it's also so much more. It's beautiful and there's lots to see and do, it's surprising and I felt like we were on a different island each day we were away. But one thing I liked best about Tenerife is that it's easy. It's easy to get there, easy to drive, easy to find things to do and easy for families thanks to all the resorts. It's really affordable, you're almost guaranteed sunshine and you can easily get by with just a little bit of 'Spanglish'. You know, where you use all the Spanish words you have and fill in the gaps with English. Holidays are meant to be easy and Tenerife turned out to be the perfect easy but adventurous island! Photo taken at Playa del Duque, Costa Adeje. It reminds me of the kind of place I went on family holidays as a kid and I absolutely loved it. #teletextdoestenerife

Siobhan Ferguson, the founder of the Pretty Cities brand, curates this account which showcases different Instagrammers’ shots of cities around the world. Instead of just reflecting one person’s experiences in a limited group of cities, it instead draws photos and inspiration from a big community of travel bloggers and amateur photographers.

The Pretty Cities provides snapshots of a wide range of cities, from large, internationally-known capitals to smaller and more unknown cities that have a charm that many haven’t experienced.

Urbanism is enough to excite any city lover, and the harmonious blend between shops, pedestrians, commuters, and tourists define the environment of any city that experiences tourism. The Pretty Cities puts the focus on places where this blend has been achieved.

In short, if you love cities and want to find ideas for your next destination, I cannot recommend this account enough!

Have you ever wished that you could drop everything and travel around the world, photographing hundreds of stunning places and things?

I spent last week visiting the national parks of Maine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been to Maine before, but I didn’t spend that much time there. I drove through the state several years ago on my way to Newfoundland. This time I was able to properly explore the state and visit several of the sites which I had been wanting to see. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The big star of Maine has to be Acadia National Park. It is the only national park in the Northeast part of the United States. It is well known for its rugged coastal photos. What I didn’t know about the park until last week was how much of of the park was surrounded by towns and houses. I didn’t realize just how connected Bar Harbor was to the park. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In addition to Acadia, I also visited the newly created Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. It was a totally different experience than Acadia, as it really is up in the wilderness of the northern woods. I saw an estimate that only about 10 cars enter the park each day, as opposed to the many thousands which are in Acadia. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m making progress on my National Park quest. I now been to 54/61 of the national parks proper, and 199/419 of the total National Park service Sites. I might be able to finish visiting all 61 parks this year as the remaining parks I have yet to visit are all pretty easy to get to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #everythingeverywhere #findyourpark #nps #maine #acadia #mainething #visitmaine

¡Hola from the Trujillo, Spain! ⠀ I’ve spent the last week exploring the highlights of the Extremadura region of Spain. This is a region which is rich in history going back to Celtic and Roman times, and is one of the most unexplored regions of Spain by foreign tourists. ⠀ My travels have taken me to the village of Guadeloupe, which I saw the historic Monastery of Santa Maria, the town of Cáceres, where I explored the Moorish and Renaissance architecture of the city, and Merida, with its incredible Roman ruins. ⠀ I’ll be posting more from each town over the next few weeks as well as posting more in-depth articles about each on the website. As interesting as each town in individually, they are even more interesting when you see them in the historical context of the rest of the Iberian Peninsula. The Islamic influences are similar to what I’ve seen in Grenada and Cordoba. The Roman artifacts are part of a continuum with what I’ve previously seen in Tarragona. The Renaissance architecture is in line with what I’ve seen in Madrid and other cities. ⠀ Today I’m in the historic city of Trujillo, which might have the best city center of all the cities I’ve visited. It is noteworthy as the birth place of several Spanish Conquistadors, in particular Pizarro, who is the subject of the large statue seen in the Plaza Mayor (shown in photo). ⠀ Tomorrow I’m off to Madrid by way of the Mercury mine in Almaden, which, not surprisingly, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (My 382nd). ⠀ #VisitSpain  #extremadura #spain #guadalupe #unesco #worldheritage #worldheritagesite

On this page, you will find snapshots of parks and protected areas in all 50 states, meaning that there is a shot that any nature lover will cherish.

As you probably know, the United States is an extremely biodiverse country. This fact is reflected in @usinterior’s posts.

Love animals? Well, @usinterior has you covered there too. One of the best parts any beautiful natural area is the animals that inhabit it. This account does its best to ensure that our furry friends are also represented in its posts.

So, after looking at this page, you’ll be amazed at all that America’s public lands have to offer. The only step now is to book a trip and discover it for yourself!

One of our favorite accounts on Instagram belongs to an American government agency which shows its followers the beauty of the United States’ national parks and public lands.

Over at @usinterior, images are frequently uploaded of some of the most dazzling shots of the public lands of the United States which can, by law, be enjoyed and explored by any visitor.
