Whenever you can, request a room that isn’t on your hotel’s lowest or highest floor. The lowest floors are too easily accessible from the street while the highest leave you no place to go if there is an intruder making their way up the floors.

Dubai is currently home to the Gevora on Sheikh Zayed Road, the world’s tallest hotel. Ciel, however, will be four meters (13 feet) taller than Gevora. It will have 82 levels and a total height of 360 meters (1,181.1 feet). Ciel will consist of 1,209 luxury suites and residences. It’s being designed by the same team that made Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm.

On the inside, the guests will be able to enjoy contemporarily designed interiors and allocated green spaces. The roof will be one of the main points of the hotel with an infinity pool and a glass observation deck that will offer an amazing 360-degree view over Dubai Marina, The Palm Jumeirah, and the Arabian Gulf. Four new restaurants will welcome hungry guests but it’s still not known which restaurants will be open in the hotel.
