]]>Located in the very heart of Ho Chi Minh City’s District 3, this religious building is formally known as the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was built during the French colonial period and it went on to become one of the city’s most photographed attractions since opening its doors in 1876.
The pink church of Ho Chi Minh perfectly blends neo-Romanesque, neo-Gothic, and neo-Renaissance elements, but it didn’t always look the way it does today. Its exterior and interior were actually painted pink in 1957, and this renovation transformed it into one of the city’s most Instagram-friendly spots.
