Sophie Turner

Ever since gracing our screens as Game of Thrones’ Sansa Stark, the naïve princess turned strong, independent ruler, Sophie Turner became a household name. Did you know she landed the role when she was just 14 years old?

After gaining fame and recognition for her role in Game of Thrones, Turner had her film debut in Another Me in 2013, before starring in Barely Legal. The actress then starred as mutant superhero Jean Grey in the box office hit X-Men: Apocalypse, a role which she reprised for the sequel of the film.

While Turner is naturally a blonde, she feels most confident with red hair. "With my red, I feel very empowered, because with every character that I've played that has red hair, they've been such a strong and powerful character. I love it for that," Turned told Refinery29.

Laura Prepon

It’s hard to imagine Lauren Prepon as anything other than a redhead. After all, she’s probably best known for her role as the confident and bubbly Donna Pinciotti on That ‘70s Show, in which she starred in from 1998-2006.

Since making her debut in That ‘70s Show, Prepon hasn’t slowed down, starring in films including Come Early Morning, The Girl on the Train, and The Hero.

We barely recognized her when she played the sneaky and manipulative Alex Vause in Orange is the New Black, where she rocked jet-black hair.

Over her career, she’s had pretty much every hair color, but we’ll always remember her as our favorite redhead Donna Pinciotti.

Riley Keough

You may not have heard of actress Riley Keough, but maybe you’re familiar with her family. Does Elvis Presley ring a bell? Well, “The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” is her grandfather. And with famous genes, Keough was pretty much destined to be a star.

Before landing her big break in film, Keough had a successful career in modeling, appearing on the Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior runways as well was on the covers of Vogue and Elle.

Despite having stardom in her blood, she didn’t make her film debut until she was 20 in The Runaways. And ever since, the roles have been piling up with her most notable ones being in Magic Mike, Logan Lucky, Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Devil All the Time.

Rose Leslie

Chances are you recognize Rose Leslie as Ygritte from Game of Thrones. But the Scottish actress actually rose to fame after winning Scottish BAFTA Award for Best Acting Performance for her role in New Town.

Before appearing in Game of Thrones, Leslie became a household name after starring in another hugely popular TV series—Downtown Abbey.

Even though Leslie left GOT in 2014, she stayed in touch with Kit Harrington, who played her on-screen love interest Jon Snow, and the two married in 2018 before welcoming a baby in February 2021.

Bella Thorne

While former Disney star Bella Thorne is naturally a blonde, she’s best known for her long, red hair. Throne dyed her natural blonde hair deep red for Big Love, before becoming a huge Disney channel star, co-starring in Shake It Up with Zendaya.

Since appearing in the TV series, the actress has made a name for herself in films like The Babysitter, The DUFF, and Midnight Sun.

In addition to acting, Thorne has had success in the music industry, releasing singles with fellow Disney star Zendaya as well as her 2020 debut album What Do You See Now?

Like many actresses, she’s experimented with her hair pretty much trying out every color in the rainbow. But Throne once admitted to feeling so connected with her red hair that after Disney suggested she go back to blonde; she had a breakdown.

Lindsay Lohan

In the ‘00s it was hard to watch a movie that Lindsay Lohan wasn’t starring in. The actress began her career as a model, signing at an agency at the young age of three. But her big break came when she landed the lead in Disney’s 1998 The Parent Trap where she played the role of both twins. From there she became a huge Disney star appearing in Life-Size, Get a Clue, Freaky Friday, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.

And who can forget her role as home-school girl turned queen bee Cady Heron in Mean Girls?

Lohan also tried her luck in the music industry releasing two studio albums titled Speak and A Little More Personal (Raw). In December 2019, Lohan announced that she was working on her first album in 14 years and the title single “Back to Me” was released in April 2020.
