Vacations are fab, but flying is not. And don’t forget, what you wear has a huge impact on the experience.

Comfort is a Priority

While putting together your outfit, you may have a great visual in mind that you hope will show off your style while being airport-friendly. But as soon as you’re stuck in that plane seat you’ll only have one thing on your mind: comfort. Make sure this is upheld as the driving force behind your outfit choice, and suspend any desire to be fashionable.

Layers are Essential

Your body temperature will go from one extreme to the other multiple times throughout your journey. Having easy-to-remove layers, that are also simple to put back on, will be a lifesaver when you’re suddenly overheating, or when you find yourself waiting in a queue somewhere outside.

You May Want to Sleep

Especially on long-haul flights, but also for shorter trips, often the best way to pass your time on a plane is to sleep through it all. So think about clothing that would be good sleep accessories, such as a hoody that you’re able to cozy up in, or a scarf that can be doubled-up as a blanket.
