Chicago Water Tower

Located at 806 Michigan Ave, this is one of the few buildings that survived the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Built almost a decade earlier, the Chicago Water Tower was instrumental in providing the local population with clean water. Union Station

Since 1925, Chicago’s Union Station has operated as the city’s primary intercity rail terminal as well as its largest terminal for commuter trains. In addition to being the ideal place to catch trains around the city, this station’s iconic Great Hall will provide you with an inside look at the city’s impressive architecture as well as the courage exhibited by its citizens, particularly at the height of World War II when the station’s skylight was blacked-out to allow safe passage to over 100,000 commuters per day.

Wrigley Field

Home to the beloved Chicago Cubs baseball team, some of the greatest MLB legends practiced their trade within this historic stadium. Opened in 1914, this stadium still boasts its original ivy-covered brick walls in the outfield while incorporating new technologies such as its high-definition jumbotron and numerous renovations.

That’s the Cloud Gate, a reflecting massive piece of public art by Sir Anish Kapoor that serves as the crown jewel of the AT&T Plaza in the city center. It’s a great place for a picture, too!

Wrigley Field

Every second Monday of the month, the gorgeous bar The California Clipper hosts what they called “Clipper Bingo”, which is a combination of everything you could want to start the week off right. The entrance is free, and upon arrival, everyone is handed a bingo board. Each table has a glass of puzzle pieces used to mark the squares, and a swing band plays in the background as the lead singer calls out the numbers. Each round even has a different unique prize!

What is best about the bingo is not only is it fun, but in between games the band will play amazing music of all genres, but mostly jazz and swing. You are also sipping on delicious cocktails all the while, so there is really nothing to hate about it. So if you are in Chicago, check it out!

The Art Institute of Chicago is a massive museum located near the famous Millenium Park and the Bean. The museum was actually built in order to house the art being made by the students at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, but now has some of the most famous works of art like American Gothic.

The Garfield Park Conservatory isn’t really a park, but it is a beautiful indoor botanical garden!
