]]>Season one of the HBO hit was set in Hawaii on the picturesque island of Maui, while season two moved to the stunning region of Sicily in Italy. Amongst the exquisite locations was a villa where two characters spend a girl’s night. In the show, the opulent house is located in Noto, but in real life it can be found in Palermo.
Titled Villa Tasca, the residence is nothing short of luxurious and those willing to fork out $5,949 a night can rent it on Airbnb. With four rooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, a formal dining room, and a sparkling pool, it is the type of place where you can relax with friends.
The 1500s home also boasts a billiard room, a music room with a grand piano, floor-to-ceiling windows, renaissance furnishings, frescos on the wall, a greenhouse, citrus grove, and a private lake complete with swans.
As if all that wasn’t enough, guests won’t have to lift a finger as their stay will be equipped with a housekeeper, manager, butler, two room attendants, and private chef.

]]>Have you ever wanted to spend the night in a straight-up castle? Because now that Airbnb is a thing, you totally can. This one is in Alabama and has enough space for three guests. It’s actually a small castle next to a bigger castle, but you’re allowed to visit the one with the moat next door if you want to. That’s right, we said moat.
If you’ve ever wanted to try living off the grid, this is your chance to do it in an earth house in Arizona on the Western Navajo Nation. Close to the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley, this is a great place to stay and clear your mind while visiting some of the best nature has to offer.
All of your childhood dreams come true when you stay in this treehouse in Arkansas in the Ozark Forest. It’s not only in a tree, but it’s also pretty luxurious with a king-sized bed, a jacuzzi, a fire pit, and a hammock.

]]>And here’s why we just bumped staying in Cahercastle to the top of our bucket list.
Cahercastle is an actual freakin’ castle. Did we mention that already? It’s been standing since the 1400s and has been restored to its original state. The host has spent the last decade refurbishing the castle to ensure guests can enjoy the authentic experience.
100% of guests gave Cahercastle a 5* rating. Perhaps that’s because the host is selective about who he chooses but it also may just be because you can’t go wrong when you’re staying in a stunning medieval castle.
Guests can enjoy access to all basic necessities including solar-powered electricity, a bathtub, and WiFi access. The castle has everything you need and not too much more, so you can enjoy the rustic simplicity of the Medieval experience.
The castle is located in a beautiful part of Ireland. It is just a 25-minute drive from Galway and you can get to Dublin in two hours by car.
You can stay at Cahercastle for $180 per night. This may seem steep at first but when you consider the fact that you will have a once in a lifetime experience, it suddenly seems quite affordable.
You can book Cahercastle via Air BnB here but the location is obviously very sought after, so there is no guarantee you will be able to book the dates you want. The host, therefore, requests you take the time to write an introductory message. Good luck!
