Climbing the Alps sounds like a big challenge, but some of its mountains are easier to climb than others. If you’re looking forward to visiting the Alps once the pandemic is over, consider starting with these mountains.

Gran Paradiso

Gran Paradiso is located in Italy and your reward for climbing it will be the amazing view of the national park that surrounds it. The climb lasts two days but it’s not a particularly challenging one.

Breithorn

Breithorn is estimated to be the most frequently climbed mountain in Switzerland. It only takes a few hours to get to the top and it gets a bit tricky towards the end but it’s still approachable for many different people.

Aiguille du Tour

Aiguille du Tour offers a true alpine experience without being too difficult for an average person. You can climb from either the French side or the Swiss side. The routes are similar and the ascent takes two days.

Allalinhorn

Allalinhorn is also one of the easiest climbs in the Swiss Alps. A lift will take you up to the Mittelallalin from where you only need to climb 500 meters to reach the summit. The glacier makes this adventure a little more difficult than it sounds.

When travelers begin to think about a trip to the country of Switzerland, there are several cities and destinations that pop into their minds.

Often times, however, one of the country’s biggest cities is ignored. I’m talking about Geneva, a Swiss city located right on the border with France in the country’s west.

Geneva deserves your attention, however, as a delightful and peaceful destination that’s worth checking out.

Located in the center of the city of Geneva is its namesake lake. The city is constructed around the lake, which contains a huge water fountain that shoots water to an altitude of 460 feet all day long.

You can even travel in a boat from one side of the lake to another in order to reach Geneva’s Old Town. This quaint method of transportation gives you a beautiful view of the crystal blue waters of the alpine lake.

Geneva is beautifully situated in the foothills of the Alps, and you won’t forget the beautiful views that await you while staying in the city itself. Exploring Geneva’s beautiful old town and visiting places like the beautiful St. Pierre Cathedral gives you access to unforgettable views.

Diplomacy lovers can also do a guided tour of the United Nations, which is headquartered in Geneva and serves as one of the world’s most important governmental organizations.

Geneva is clean, accessible, and beautiful. So, what are you waiting for?

If you are bored with your everyday routine and you need a little excitement in your life, pack your bags and get ready for an unforgettable camping adventure. But where to go, you may ask? Let’s have a look at the best camping spots in the world.

The Alps, France

The picturesque French Alps are an all-year attraction. However, in spring, when the snow melts, the mountain transforms into a beautiful green meadow full of colorful flowers. This is the time when the campers rush to enjoy the fresh alpine air and the fairy tale sights.

Tasmania, Australia

Tasmania is an island state of Australia and it is located 240 km to the south of the Australian mainland. Rich in endemic wildlife, over 40% of Tasmania is protected within national parks and reserves, which equals beautiful campgrounds.

Miyajima, Japan

Only a short ferry ride from Hiroshima, the island of Miyajima is one of the top three scenic spots in Japan. Make friends with domesticated deer while camping in the beautiful forest of Itsukushima. Visit the ancient temples if you want to spice up your camping with a little bit of culture.

 Antarctica

Antarctica is definitely one of the most extreme camping sights. You have to be a big camping enthusiast to put up your tent at the cold, icy snow. However, the peaceful silence, the bluish white light will give you the magical experience of all time.
