]]>If you’ve ever wanted to check out some of the country’s most amazing athletic spectacles, here are three events that you absolutely must add to your “bucket list.”
The world’s premier American football league is the NFL, which pits 32 teams against one another every season to decide who wins the Super Bowl trophy. This game is the most-watched television event in America and is even more spectacular if you can watch its drama in person.
Baseball is considered America’s pastime, and the World Series between MLB’s two top teams every season is one of the most exciting competitions that you can see in person. The crisp October air and the crack of the bat create an atmosphere that you have to experience to believe.
The US Open is one of tennis’s four Grand Slam events and the only one which takes place in the United States. Held in early September at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City, this electric event will allow you to see tennis’s best men’s and women’s players square off in an All-American setting.

]]>No matter what country you are traveling in, especially if you are in a big city, chances are there will be a showing at a bar or restaurant. While it might not be your traditional Super Bowl party with friends and family, it is a great way to see the game while experiencing other cultures.
In the U.S. kickoff starts at the comfortable time of 6:30 PM (3:30 PM west coast time), but in countries around the world, game time is at all odd hours. In Europe, it will start at 11:30 PM or 12:30 AM making it hard to get to work early Monday morning if you stay up for the whole game. In Australia, kickoff is at 8:30 AM and some bars have started an “early bird breakfast” where there are discounts on early food and drinks to attract more people!
No matter where you are in the world or what time the game starts, the Super Bowl is a great time to experience other food and cultures while meeting other sports fans from around the world.
