Covão d’Ametade

The Zêzere glacial valley is one of the most beautiful regions of the park, and its Covão d’Ametade is arguably its most beautiful point. Wild deer graze on the meadows next to the river which flows through the valley, which is scenically lined with silver birch trees.

Poço do Inferno

Are you a fan of waterfalls? If so, you have to check out this spot during your trip to the Serra da Estrela. This cascade falls into a small lake whose freezing-cold waters can be a great place to take a dip after a hot summertime hike.
