The museum in Belgrade is only one of many under this moniker, as the Museum of Illusions has branches everywhere from Madrid to Cairo.
Located in the very heart of Kalemegdan Park, the Museum of Chocolate is one of the latest additions to Belgrade’s quirky museum scene. It features several themed rooms exploring the history of chocolate and a unique display of chocolate-made items.

]]>Surprisingly enough, this isn’t where this interactive museum actually originates from; its first exhibition actually took place in San Francisco. The project created so much buzz that it ran for eight sold-out months before finding a new home in NYC in 2018.
Described as “a celebration of color and creativity”, the Color Factory now spans 20,000 square feet, with a series of new installations inspired by New York City. Like similar museums of its kind, this one is the perfect place to take vibrant photos in picture-perfect set-ups.
The Color Factory franchise is currently expending, and it opened another location in Houston last year. Their main goal is to connect visitors to the colorful moments around the city where the exhibition is set, and we’re looking forward to seeing them open more locations in the future.

]]>This museum opened its doors at Melbourne’s historic MacRobertson’s chocolate factory in 2018, before going on tour around the east coast of Australia. They pride themselves in providing all visitors with the sweetest possible experience in the land down under.
“We believe that the fun shouldn’t stop when you’re a grown-up, so we created a wonderland of nostalgic spaces where you can re-live your childhood and immerse yourself in joy,” reads Sugar Republic’s official website.
Despite the fact it’s not defined at such, Sugar Republic is essentially a selfie museum and it features ten interactive and Instagram-friendly set-ups where you can take amazing photos. Most of them are candy-inspired and feature giant replicas of gum bubbles, cakes, marshmallows, and other sweet treats.
