The Western Australia Museum is a deep dive into local history and culture in one of the most unknown and underappreciated parts of Australia. Currently closed while being renovated and improved, the Western Australia Museum is set to open its doors in the coming months as Perth’s premier museum.
Re-opening soon in November 2020!
Just outside of Perth in the suburb of Fremantle is a World Heritage Site which showcases one of the strangest parts of Australia’s past. The island was once used as a penal colony for British prisoners, and the Fremantle Prison was one of the biggest in existence. Now it’s a museum and parts of its former cell blocks can be visited.

Video game lovers have to stop at the Nostalgia Box while in Perth, as it is a living and breathing ode to the history of the games and consoles which we have all grown up with.
