Yes, The White Lotus keeps viewers glued because of all the drama going down, but we have a feeling that the gorgeous scenery has something to do with it, too…

Season one of the HBO hit was set in Hawaii on the picturesque island of Maui, while season two moved to the stunning region of Sicily in Italy. Amongst the exquisite locations was a villa where two characters spend a girl’s night. In the show, the opulent house is located in Noto, but in real life it can be found in Palermo.

Titled Villa Tasca, the residence is nothing short of luxurious and those willing to fork out $5,949 a night can rent it on Airbnb. With four rooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, a formal dining room, and a sparkling pool, it is the type of place where you can relax with friends.

The 1500s home also boasts a billiard room, a music room with a grand piano, floor-to-ceiling windows, renaissance furnishings, frescos on the wall, a greenhouse, citrus grove, and a private lake complete with swans.

As if all that wasn’t enough, guests won’t have to lift a finger as their stay will be equipped with a housekeeper, manager, butler, two room attendants, and private chef.

Sicily is one of the most beautiful, interesting, and rich in content and culture islands in Italy. Sicily is the largest island in the Middle East. and, with a population of over five million, it is the largest province in Italy.

The most beautiful city in Sicily, in our opinion, is the city of Palermo. The capital of Sicily is a central port city, and perhaps the most interesting city in all of Italy.

The name Palermo means The golden shell. Indeed, apart from the fact that the shape of the city is similar to the shape of an oyster, it is a real sea gem.

When you reach the city, walk through the alleys, stroll along the harbor, and watch the local fishermen and their small boats in action.

Visit the old quarter of the city where time seems to have stopped, and tour among the impressive churches, carriages, magical shops, and beautiful gardens.

Well-informed sources recommend accommodation in one of the nearby fishing villages along the coast (Santa Flavia area), where you can enjoy authentic delicacies in a rare rural atmosphere.

Do not miss a visit to this magical city on your next trip to the south of Italy.

Buenos Aires is without a doubt one of South America’s coolest cities. Within this city of 3 million people, you’ll find world-class restaurants, passionate soccer fans, and all kinds of things to see and do.

The Argentine capital is also home to a rich tapestry of neighborhoods which make the city unique. One, in particular, is Palermo.

Palermo, located in the northeastern section of the city and bordering the Rio de la Plata, is a sophisticated, beautiful, and unique area that defines the best of what the city has to offer, both culturally and gastronomically.

The former home of famous Argentines such as Che Guevara and Jose Luis Marti, Palermo’s historical core is the top place that you should visit in this part of the city. Statues and monuments line the area’s plazas and beautiful 18th-century architecture can be found inhabited by shops and restaurants in the top part of Palermo.

There is plenty more to see in Palermo, as other parts of the neighborhood offer up treasures such as a Japanese Botanical Garden, the Galileo Galilei Planetarium, and the popular urban park called  Palermo Woods.

Simply put, there’s absolutely no way to be bored while visiting Palermo, no matter what your interests are.

Be sure to add Palermo to the top of your “neighborhoods to see” list when you start planning your next Buenos Aires excursion. You won’t be disappointed!
